Meet Dr. Seymour Weaver

A MESSAGE FROM DR. WEAVER

I am Dr. Seymour Weaver and I am so glad that you are here!

Most of my working adult life has been devoted to helping individuals with problem skin get better, many of whom had hyperpigmentation concerns and I would like to do the same for you.

It is hard to explain, but when I see a person with skin discoloration and dark spots go from feeling unhappy or miserable about how they look in the mirror to being excited about having clearer more even skin it’s a pleasure to be part of their transition.

Professionally I am trained as a board-certified dermatologist with over 38 years of private practice experience devoted to serving...and caring for more than 100,000 patients.

While diagnosing and treating skin diseases is my primary activity, I also have a background in chemistry which led to my interest in analyzing and formulating skin care products.

MY OBSERVATIONS ABOUT MELANIN PIGMENT & HYPERPIGMENTATION

During my years in practice, I have noticed a key difference in my patients with darker skin compared to those with lighter skin pigmentation.

Individuals with darker skin have more melanin pigment present, which impacts how skin responds to the environment and diseases.

While melanin can be beneficial and help protect the skin from sun damage and skin cancers, the tradeoff is an overproduction of melanin whenever the skin is inflamed or irritated.

This excess amount of melanin leads to various types of skin discoloration due to hyperpigmentation.

In caring for these individuals, I have seen hyperpigmentation cause many to develop insecurity and self-esteem issues and lots of unhappiness.

Helping a person who does not feel good about their skin is a challenge in many ways, but I work with them in the best way possible to come up with a solution.

At times, It has been really hard to find products that help reverse this skin discoloration - specifically for women and men of color without risks of certain side effects.

So I took my decades of experience with thousands of patients, background in chemistry and worked with a manufacturer to put together my own products to help African Americans with hyperpigmentation disorders as an extra to use in place of or along with prescription medications.

Many prescription medications for hyperpigmentation are advised to be used for a certain period of time such as 3 months and then stopped, so a person still needs something to use when the treatment time is longer than this to get a result.

If you have skin discoloration due to hyperpigmentation, take a look at my current product “MELAJUVE BRS” and see if it’s the right fit for you.

MEDICAL PRESCRIPTIONS FOR HYPERPIGMENTATION

I am a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and many other professional societies and maintain my clinical skills interacting with and treating patients daily.

Knowing that every patient with hyperpigmentation concerns cannot be seen in the office and that some more stubborn cases can require prescription strength medication, I offer a very limited number of online video consultations by appointment on an individualized basis to evaluate and prescribe medical regimens for skin discoloration as well.

NATURAL SKIN CARE

Many patients have also expressed an interest in everyday skin care products so 100% Pure Organic Moroccan Argan Oil and Dermzyme Cleanser with Pineapple & Papya are available as Natural Skin Care products to use for this purpose

The products for Hyperpigmentation and Natural Skin Care provide a great combination regimen to use for keeping African American skin in great condition with a clear complexion and minimal irritation.
